Jack Galloway joined Barney & Barney in 1984 and became a Principal in the firm in 1989. As Director of Barney & Barney’s Commercial Department, Jack oversees the insurance and risk management programs for the firm’s largest and most complex public and private company clients. Jack works closely with clients to solve the unique challenges they face in general liability, product liability and workers’ compensation placements.
Jack began his insurance career in 1981 with the Hartford Insurance Group and now has more than 25 years of insurance experience.
A California native, Jack is an avid tennis player and past President of the Boys & Girls Club of Oceanside. He also serves as a Director on the Western Insurance Agents Association (WIAA) Board and as a delegate to the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers.
Jack is a graduate of California State University, Hayward with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and marketing. In 1988, he achieved the prestigious insurance designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and also holds the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
