Steve is a Principal in Barney & Barney's Commercial Division, where he is responsible for account service and retention, new client development, and leadership of the firm's non-profit and hospitality practice groups.
Steve offers clients an in-depth insurance background that includes expertise in loss control, underwriting, marketing and affinity program management. He has worked with such companies as Chubb & Son as well as other national independent insurance agencies. He brings clients a well-rounded, global approach in the development of their risk management programs as well as a keen understanding of and experience with managing large, complex accounts with multiple risks.
A graduate of Claremont McKenna College and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Steve holds degrees in Management and Industrial Engineering. He is currently an officer for IBA West, and is on the board of the East County Family YMCA and the Burn Institute.
